Terms and contest rules
Last updated October 7th, 2026
These terms explain how you can use loopvember.vision, how the community side works, and the rules of the Loopvember contest run by amv.vision. We wrote them in plain words. Please read them before you sign in, comment, vote or enter.
Who we are
This website, loopvember.vision, is run by amv.vision. So is the Loopvember contest described on this page. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean amv.vision. "You" means anyone who visits the site, signs in, comments, votes or enters the contest.
Loopvember itself is a community challenge. Nobody owns it, and that includes us. We run this site and an optional contest on top of it.
You can reach us at the email address in Contact.
Accepting these terms
By using the site, you agree to these terms. By entering the contest, you also agree to the contest rules on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or enter the contest.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
When you sign in with Discord, Discord's own terms also apply to you. When you post on TikTok or Instagram, their terms apply to your post. Nothing in these terms changes those rules.
Loopvember and the contest
Loopvember is a yearly challenge that runs all November. Editors and animators post short videos that loop seamlessly, as often as they can. It is open to everyone, it has no winner, and you do not need this site to take part.
The contest is an optional extra run by amv.vision. Only posts with #amvvision in the caption are contest entries. They carry a trophy on the site, and only they can receive stars and win.
The gallery on this site can also show Loopvember loops that are not contest entries. Showing a loop in the gallery does not make it a contest entry.
For more detail on scoring, with a worked example, see the What is this page.
Who can enter
- Anyone may enter the contest.
- To vote, comment, like comments, save loops or submit a link on the site, you need to sign in with Discord. To do that, you must meet Discord's minimum age where you live.
- If you are under the age of majority where you live (the age when you become a legal adult), you need permission from a parent or guardian. You need it to enter the contest and to accept any prize.
- The contest is not open in any place where the law does not allow it.
- Before we give any prize, we may ask you to show that you meet these rules.
How to enter
Entering is free. You do not need to buy or pay for anything.
- Post your loop publicly on TikTok or Instagram. Posts on other platforms do not count.
- Put #amvvision in the caption of the post.
- Post it during November 2026, from November 1st to November 30th.
- Enter as many loops as you like. Each loop is its own entry.
- Only the original post counts. See Original work and reuploads.
We search TikTok and Instagram for public posts tagged #loopvember or #loopvember26. To help us find your entry, use one of these tags as well as #amvvision. We try to find every entry, but we cannot promise to find them all. The surest way in is to add the link yourself with Submit a loop on the site. This needs a Discord sign in. It also helps to tag @amv.vision.official.
Our team checks every loop before it appears on the site or counts in the contest. The site checks captions for #amvvision automatically. If it cannot read a caption, it does not leave the loop out. Our team decides instead. Our team can also mark any loop as a contest entry or not by hand, for example to correct a mistake.
When you submit a link on the site:
- Only TikTok and Instagram links are accepted.
- You may submit loops made by other people for the gallery, but credit the real creator.
- Only tick "I made this loop" if you made it.
- We may limit how many links one account can submit in a day.
All dates and times in these terms are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). For example, November 30th ends at midnight UTC at the end of that day.
Contest dates
- November 1st to November 30th, 2026: post and submit loops.
- December 1st to December 7th: community voting.
- December 8th to December 14th: judging and vote review.
- December 15th: results are published.
These dates are a plan, not a promise. The December part may be shortened. If dates change, we will announce it on the site.
Your content and what we may do with it
You keep ownership of your loop. We do not claim it.
Here is what we do with public posts:
- We find public posts on TikTok and Instagram, or get their links from people who submit them.
- We save a copy of the video and a cover image on our own storage, so the loop can play on the site.
- We may convert the copy to other file formats or sizes so it plays well on phones and computers.
- We show the loop with its caption, the creator's handle and a link to the original post.
When you enter the contest, or submit a loop you made, you give amv.vision permission to do these things. You also allow us to feature your loop, or short clips of it, on amv.vision's own social media accounts and pages. We do this to promote Loopvember and the contest. This permission:
- is not exclusive, so you can still use your loop in any way you like
- applies worldwide, because the site can be seen anywhere
- is free of charge: we do not pay you for it, and you do not pay us
- lasts until you ask us to remove your loop
You confirm that you have the right to post your loop and to give us this permission. Many edits use footage or music owned by others. Our permission only covers the rights that you have.
Removal. You can ask us to remove your loop at any time, and we will. We will take it off the site and stop using it in new posts. Where we can, we will also remove past amv.vision posts that feature it. A removed loop also leaves the contest. Copies kept in browser or network caches can take some time to clear.
If your loop is on the site and you did not enter it or submit it, we show it to celebrate the Loopvember challenge. If you would like it removed, email us (see Contact) and we will remove it.
Original work and reuploads
- Only the original post counts.
- A reupload of someone else's edit is removed, from the gallery and from the contest.
- Do not post someone else's work as your own. If you do, we may remove all of your entries from the contest.
- Credit the real creator when you submit a link.
Our team checks this by hand. If you see a reupload or a stolen loop, tell us (see Contact). Send a link to it and a link to the original.
Voting and fair play
Voting runs from December 1st to December 7th. You need to sign in with Discord to vote.
- Each account gets 10 stars for the whole event.
- You can place up to 3 stars on any one contest entry.
- You can move or take back your stars until voting closes. You do not have to use all 10.
- You cannot place stars on your own entries.
- Stars cannot be bought, passed to someone else, or earned through referrals.
- Star totals stay hidden until the results are published. Only our team can see them before then.
Fair play. Sharing your entry and asking people to support it is fine. These are not allowed:
- using more than one Discord account to vote. One person, one account.
- using someone else's account to vote
- buying, selling or trading stars, or offering anything in return for stars
- using bots, scripts or any other automated way to vote
- joining a group that agrees to swap stars with each other (a vote ring)
We review suspicious voting before the results are final. If we find stars that break these rules, we may remove them. If a creator takes part in cheating, we may also remove their entries from the contest. A person on our team makes these decisions.
Judging and results
Judging runs from December 8th to December 14th.
- The 20 contest entries with the most stars become finalists.
- The judges can add up to 5 more finalists (wildcards), using the same rubric.
- The judges score every finalist from 0 to 10 in four areas: technical execution (35%), originality and creative choices (30%), sync and pacing (25%), and loop quality and continuity (10%).
- Each judge's weighted result becomes a score out of 100. The average across judges is the jury score.
- Each finalist's star total becomes a community score out of 100. It is measured against the highest star total among the finalists.
- Final score = 70% jury score + 30% community score.
- The 10 highest final scores make the official Top 10.
- The contest entry with the most stars wins the Audience Choice award, even if it is not a finalist.
Ties. If two finalists have the same final score, the one with the higher jury score ranks higher. If they are still equal, they share the placement.
Judges. The judges are listed on the Judges page. A judge must step aside from scoring any entry where they have a conflict of interest.
Results are published on the site on December 15th, and all star totals become public that day. The judges' decisions and the final results are final, as far as the law allows.
A worked example of the formula is on the What is this page.
Prizes
No prizes have been decided yet. Prizes, if any, are announced on the site before voting opens, and these terms apply to them. Until then, nothing on the site or on our social media is a promise of a prize.
If there are prizes:
- We may check that a winner meets the rules in Who can enter. This includes permission from a parent or guardian where needed.
- We may ask a winner for the details we need to deliver the prize.
- Prizes cannot be swapped or passed to someone else unless we agree.
- Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees on their prize.
- If we cannot reach a winner, or they do not reply by the deadline we give them, we may give the prize to the next eligible entry. We may do the same if a winner does not meet the rules.
- If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may replace it with one of similar value.
Any extra prize rules, such as delivery times, will be announced with the prizes.
Contacting winners and publicity
We contact winners through the TikTok or Instagram account on their entry. If you submitted your loop through the site, we may contact you on Discord instead.
We will never ask you to pay anything to receive a prize. We will never ask for your password or a login code. If a message asks for these, it is not from us. If you are not sure, email us (see Contact).
Publicity. When results are published, we show the finalists' and winners' handles, loops and results on the site. We may also share them on amv.vision's social media accounts. By entering, you agree to this. If you do not want your handle shown with the results, email us before the results are published.
Comments and conduct
When you comment, your comment is public. It shows with your Discord display name and avatar. You can edit or delete your own comments. A deleted comment is hidden from the site. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep and how to have it erased.
Be respectful. Do not post:
- harassment, bullying or threats
- hate speech, or attacks on people for who they are
- spam, ads, scams or misleading links
- sexual or explicit content, and never anything sexual involving minors
- violent or shocking content
- illegal content, or content that encourages crime or self-harm
- private information about another person
- content that pretends to be someone else
- content you do not have the right to share
These rules also apply to GIFs, and to your Discord name and avatar while they show on the site. The GIF search is provided by KLIPY and uses its PG-13 content filter. Filters are not perfect, so you are still responsible for what you post.
Reporting. To report a comment, an entry or an account, email us (see Contact). Include a link and a short note about the problem.
Moderation. People on our team review reports and moderate the site. Automatic limits help stop spam, such as limits on how often an account can comment, like, star, save or submit links. If something breaks these terms, we may remove comments, stars or entries, and we may stop an account from using the site. Where we have a way to reach you, we will tell you why. You can ask us by email to look at a decision again. We may report illegal content to the right authorities.
Your account
You sign in with your Discord account. We do not create a separate password for you. Keep your Discord account secure, because anything done while you are signed in counts as done by you.
You can sign out at any time. Signing out ends your session in that browser.
You can stop using the site at any time. To ask us to delete your data, email us (see Contact). Our Privacy Policy explains what we delete and what we may need to keep.
We may suspend or end your access to the site if you break these terms. We may also do this if we need to protect the site, the contest or other people.
Copyright and other complaints
If you believe something on the site uses your work without permission, email us (see Contact). Please include:
- your name and how we can reach you
- the work you own, or the owner you act for
- the exact link to the content on our site
- a statement that you believe in good faith that this use is not allowed by the owner or the law
- a statement that your information is correct and that you are the owner or allowed to act for them
- your full name, typed as your signature
We will review your message and remove the content when that is the right step. Where we can, we will tell the person who posted it.
If your loop was removed and you think it was a mistake, email us with the link and the reason. We will look at it again.
If someone keeps posting other people's work, we may remove all of their entries and stop their access to the site.
You can use the same address to report other content you believe is illegal. Tell us where it is and why you think it is illegal.
Other services
The site uses services run by other companies:
- Discord, for sign in
- TikTok and Instagram, where loops are posted, and whose players may show on the site
- KLIPY, for GIF search in comments
- YouTube, for some videos, such as on the Judges page
Each service has its own terms and privacy policy. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
The contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, TikTok, Instagram or Discord. By entering, you fully release TikTok, Instagram and Discord from any responsibility for the contest. Please send questions about the contest to us, not to them.
The site may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content.
Changes to the site and the contest
We may change, pause or stop the site, or any part of it, at any time.
We may also change the contest dates or rules, or pause or cancel the contest, if we need to. For example, this could happen because of cheating, technical problems or events outside our control. We will announce changes on the site. If we must change the rules while the contest is running, we will try to keep things fair for everyone who has already entered.
If the contest is cancelled before results are published, there may be no winners.
Disclaimers and limits of liability
The site is free and provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct. We cannot promise it will always be available, free of errors or safe from every problem.
Loops and comments come from other people and show their views, not ours. Comments appear without being checked first, but we act on reports as described above.
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for:
- loss or damage from using the site, or from not being able to use it
- lost data, such as comments, stars or saved loops
- anything done by other users or by other services
- indirect losses, such as lost income or lost opportunities
Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit. Examples are death or injury caused by negligence, and fraud. These terms do not take away any rights you have by law that cannot be changed by agreement.
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top. For important changes, we may also show a notice on the site.
If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
